Fancy Axolotl: Fractals →
fancyaxolotl: Not enough people know about fractals. They’re a maths thing, which I suppose is why most people aren’t interested at first. But fractals are so complex - in a simple kind of way - and can be incredibly beautiful. Fractals are, put simply, a pattern recurring within itself to infinity…. it’s a wonderful thing :]

inkblotfactory: In Art History this semester we learned about the Spiral Jetty. I think it’s quite an amazing piece of art. Sculpted by Robert Smithson in 1970 and made up of mud, precipitated salt crystals, rocks, and water. Smithson ordered no maintenance to be done on the jetty, because he wanted the sculpture… ^ same
